ST-AMBROISE FRAMBOISE

McAuslan Brewery, Montreal, Quebec

  • Good three fingers worth of rose-coloured head, on top of a natural looking reddish-brown brew.
  • Has a very nice tart raspberry aroma, like fresh juiced berries.
  • The flavour is without a question raspberry, but it is not as sweet as expected.
  • It’s very well-balanced, not too sweet and not bitter. Very enjoyable beer, would be great in the summer ( this is McAuslan’s summer seasonal release, so it may be difficult to find until next year)
  • It’s very crisp and refreshing, with a nice amount of carbonation dancing off the tip of the tongue.
  • I would recommend this to someone who is new to beer drinking.
