Brasserie D’achouffe  Achouffe, Belgium

  • 9% ABV – Pretty strong for an IPA
  • Very strong  presence of sediment in this beer, strong consideration for aging to help settle it as well as develop flavours.
  • Melon and citrus aromas compete with strong the strong scent of of yeast.
  • Really sharp tartness on the tongue, slightly overwhelming, another thing that may be enhanced and developed through aging.  The beer is also quite sour and bitter similar to famous Lambic beers famous in Belgium.
